Hot Springs Baptist
Church History
Hot Springs Baptist Church was born as a result of God responding to the prayers of His people who live both in and outside of Hot Springs, MT. Various people recognized a need and prayed for God to bring a solid King James Bible preaching/teaching church to the area.
God used the people of Lighthouse Baptist Church of Superior, MT as well as a resident of Hot Springs, MT to plant this church which held its first service on June 5, 2022.
Statement of Faith
We believe every word of the Bible was inspired by God (II Timothy 3:16, Jeremiah 26:2, Matthew 5:18, and Matthew 24:35). We believe the Bible is perfect. It contains no mistakes and is a gift from God to us (II Timothy 3:16 and II Peter 1:21). and that the King James Bible is His preserved Word for the English speaking people and for this reason, it is the only Bible we use for preaching, teaching, studying, etc. (Psalm 12:6-7, II Tim 3:15-17, I Peter 1:23-25, II Peter 1:19-21)
We believe there is only one true God who will live and reign for all of eternity. He manifests himself in three parts: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:26, Matthew 28:19, Mark 12:30, I Timothy 1:17, I John 4:4, Revelation 4:11)
We believe Jesus Christ is the only begotten son of God and that He is the only path for mankind to enter Heaven. We believe Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, that He lived a sinless life, died a substitutionary death for all of mankind, was buried and risen again the third day. We believe He is now seated at the right hand of the Father where He intercedes for each and every believer. (Psalm 2:7-9, Isaiah 7:14, Isaiah 9:6, Micah 5:2, Matthew 1:25, Luke 1:26-35, John 1, Romans 5:6-15, Philippians 2:5-11, I Timothy 3:16, Titus 2:10-15, Hebrews 7:26, Hebrews 9:24-28, Revelation 20:1-6)
